Purpose & Values

Purpose – Based on discussions at the 2024 Two Islands Playback Gathering, the community expressed that the Two Islands Network could:

• foster connection & communication (through interactive map & calendar, contact directory, regular gatherings and other cross-company networking opportunities)
• enable resource- and skill-sharing (through training & workshops, supporting project collaboration, sharing templates, funding information & technical knowledge)
• facilitate professional support (through mentoring programmes, peer supervision, crisis support and company twinning opportunities)
• support Playback visibility & growth (through profile-raising, reaching new audiences, attracting younger generations, and corporate outreach)
• develop sustainability (through funding pathways, Arts Council connections, school partnerships, and business development)

We are seeking ways to continue developing the above – please share your ideas!
